The Department of Health and the Alzheimer's Association Eagles have installed an information booth in the Plaza of Spain, from where they have lodged an activity assisted therapy in which patients work with dogs belonging to Canine Rescue Unit of Civil Protection (UCRAG) .
The Department of Health and the Association consistory Alzheimer aquiline eagles today commemorate "International Day of Alzheimer's."
Therefore, from 10:00 until 13:30 hours and will remain installed in the Plaza of Spain an information booth in order to raise awareness of the disease and seek the support and solidarity of citizens, organizations and institutions .
About 11.00 pm, the mayor of Health, Ana Maria Miñarro, accompanied by the newly appointed president of the Alzheimer's Association Eagles, Ginés Sánchez, have been presented to the media-assisted therapy activity that the Department of Health of the City of Eagles will develop over the next three months, members of the association, where Alzheimer work mobility, memory development and behavior, using guide dogs and their canine unit belonging to the Civil Protection Rescue Eagles (UCRAG).
Ana Maria Miñarro thanked the cooperation of the members of the UCRAG and has encouraged citizens to attend a charity dinner Alzheimer's Association, which will be held on October 8, in the halls of the Hotel Restaurant "El Paso" .
