The Association of Railway Pensioners Residences was created in Madrid in 1931, but not until April 1970 Eagles opened the Center, a facility that currently has 165 residents.
While it is true that initially only allowed to train or immediate family, today this residence welcomes all kinds of people, depending on availability of seats, taking as a prerequisite to become a member of the center.
The only residences belonging to this group in our country are the Eagles and another located in the municipality of San Juan (Alicante).
