Eagle City Council has awarded various improvement works in a busy artery of the city.
Specifically it is the stretch of time between the Rambla de las Culebras and the Marina.
The work, the amount of contract is worth 152,370 euros, are included in the Works and Services Plan 2011 and are funded by the Ministry of Public Administration, the Autonomous Community of Murcia and the City of Eagles.
As reported by the council of Goods and Works, Diego Martínez Parra, the projected work is the renewal of: sewerage, water mains and curb and sidewalk pavement, and the reinforcement of road surfaces.
Parra Martinez said that "this action addresses the need to replace some old and poor sewerage and water by more modern, offering a better service to the residents of this area of ​​the city, while rushing the improvements needed in the deformed and cracked driveway and sidewalk that runs parallel to Paseo de Parra. "
Finally, the councilman of Goods and Works has indicated that work will begin before year end and have a deadline of three months, which is scheduled for completion the first quarter of 2012.
