Eagles Mayor and Councilman of Sports have given a plaque of appreciation to the athlete, for winning the title of European Football Champion Female, recently achieved in the town of Nyon (Switzerland), together with the Spanish Sub -17.
The mayor of Eagles, Giménez Hernández Bartolomé and the Councillor for Sports, Diego Martínez Parra, today offered an official reception to the athlete hooked "Maitane López Millán"
This act was motivated by the recent acquisition of the title "European Champion U-17 Women's Football," which got Maitane last August in the town of Nyon (Switzerland), together with its partners of the Spanish .
López Millán has lived 5 years in Palma de Mallorca, where he currently plays as a midfield in the ranks of Sporting Ciutat de Palma.
Although it has been called repeatedly by the "red" as a central defender, his greatest triumph came last summer, at the age of 16 years, to achieve the aforementioned title of "Champion of Europe."
During the official reception, the athlete has said that his love of football comes from her family and that, despite the distance, he is hooked.
The mayor and the councilman of Sports Maitane congratulated for the victory and have given a plaque and wished him new victories in his career.
