This is the dramatic comedy "The Bitch In Love" by Chema Cardena, played by the company Alicante "Taules Theatre" under the direction of Alfredo Zamora.
"The Bitch in Love" is an excellent text on three characters as exciting as the story that are involved.
King, Philip IV, directs the court painter, Diego Rodriguez de Silva y Velazquez paint his mistress, Maria Calderon, a famous actress of the time.
All this happens under the watchful eyes of Lucius, servant to this, villain and comedian.
The strong temperaments of these three personalities will clash in a match that will lead to a surprising outcome, and what at first might seem a simple request turns into a plot with many edges.
Of the nearly 40 works submitted for the contest, from different parts of Spanish territory, which have been selected to be on stage are:
October 22: "A husband back and forth" by E.
Jardiel Poncela, by the Company "Thiar Teatro" El Pilar de la Horadada (Alicante).
October 29: "Due Padrone," Perez Daza Bethlehem, in charge of the company ONCE "Orozú Theater" of Cadiz.
November 5: "The Gas Station" by Fulgencio Martinez Lax, in charge of the company "A little bit Theater" of Murcia.
November 12: "The bitch in love," Chema Cardena, in charge of the company "Taules Teatre" in Pinoso (Alicante).
The seats can be purchased in advance, the price of 5 €, in the Office of Tourism and Travel Almeida, or on the day of roles, from two hours earlier at the ticket to the Auditorium and Congress Centre "Infanta Elena" .
