The mayor of Eagles, Bartolomé Hernández Giménez, accompanied by various local authorities, has carried on this afternoon the official Christmas lights, which from today until next Friday January 8 will look in the municipality.
The Consistory aquiline installed in the town on these dates more than a hundred bows and Christmas decorations, made with more than 400,000 light bulbs, which highlights the effects of traditional mobile signs with phrases Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays.
The gazebo in the Plaza of Spain, the heart of the city, has been decorated with various Christmas decorations made of wicker, bright decor of palm trees, arches and flowerpots hanging microbombillas with typical poinsettia.
Bartolome Hernandez said that "for the first time, all Christmas decorative lighting is comprised of LED lamps, which will mean energy savings of 80% compared to previous years."
Finally, the mayor has said that "many citizens who were expected to take place on Christmas in the town, especially commercial and hospitality sector, as this light helps boost the Christmas atmosphere in the city ".
