The event was held last night at the Cultural Hall Cajamurcia with the mayor of Eagles and the Councillor for Culture and Heritage.
Last night was released in Cajamurcia Cultural Hall, the jury's decision of the XV Contest of Bethlehem, organized by the Association of Housewives, Consumers and Users "Virgen de los Dolores," with the cooperation of the City of Eagle and other entities.
The event, which included a performance by the Choir of the Housewives' Association, was chaired by the mayor of Eagle, Bartolomé Hernández Giménez, Councillor for Culture and Heritage, Francisco Miguel Martínez, and the president of the Association, Maruja Jerez.
Besides a special mention to Bethlehem Furniture San Jose and other awards, the awards this year, separated into three categories, went to the following individuals and companies:
Family Nativity:
First prize: Maria Jose Ponce.
Second prize: Juana Ruiz.
Third prize: Jane Escarabajal.
Nativity Exhibition:
First prize: Home of the Railway.
Second prize: Salvador Sanchez.
Third prize: Hilary Gray.
Nativity Schools:
First prize: IES Europe.
Second prize: CEIP Ciudad del Mar
Third prize: CEIP San Juan de las Aguilas.
Before concluding the ceremony, the mayor of Eagle congratulated all participants, especially the winners, and publicly thanked the Housewives Association of the fact strengthen this tradition cribs in our city.
Bartolome Hernandez also had words of congratulations for the Coral Association of Housewives and encouraged citizens to participate Eagles in successive editions of this traditional Nativity Scene Contest.
