The mayor for the Elderly and Social Services, Ana Maria Miñarro, this morning delivered the check to its namesake Lorca, Maria del Carmen Ruiz, at a ceremony held in the city of Lorca.
The mayor for the Elderly and Social Services City of Eagles, Ana Maria Miñarro, along with the president of the Municipal Center on Aging, Juana Gonzalez, and Secretary of the same, Francisca Montalbán, have moved this morning to the next town Lorca to hand over a donation of 1,455 euros to the Bureau for Development.
Councilwoman Ana Maria Miñarro, handed the check to its namesake Lorca, Maria del Carmen Ruiz, at a ceremony held in the city of Lorca.
Miñarro publicly congratulated the board of the Municipal Center on Aging Eagles for this initiative, a gift that comes from the contributions they have made themselves partners, using small amounts they deposited upon enrollment in the various activities that have organized at the Centre over the past six months.
Meanwhile, Maria del Carmen Ruiz explained that "this amount will be integrated into economic channels funds and manages the Bureau for Development, in order to help those affected by the earthquakes of May 11 and allow the recovery of the municipality and socio-economic reactivation. "
