The mayor of Health and Social Services, Ana Maria Miñarro, this afternoon opened the program, which will run until February 15.
The mayor of Health and Social Services, Ana Maria Miñarro, inaugurated this afternoon the School of Families IV, organized by the Association of Families and Persons with Mental Illness Eagles and Shire (AFEMAC).
During the ceremony, Ana Maria Miñarro, which has been accompanied by Dolores Morales, president of AFEMAC, has referred to the important ongoing work of this association in the town, and noted that the fourth edition of the School Family will run until on 15 February with a series of presentations that will take place every Wednesday, at 18'00 hours, at the headquarters of this group, and a mutual aid module, which will have a monthly, coordinated by Rocío Acute and Isabel Maria Parra, psychologists at AFEMAC.
Family School include various lectures, which will cover areas such as psychiatric rehabilitation goals, the family's role in the disease, healthy lifestyles, problems with medication, resources and network of mental health services foundations of occupational therapy, among others.
Starting today, psychologists, social workers, psychiatrists, nurses, doctors and therapists, nutritionists, will offer their vision through various conferences.
The first one took place this afternoon, by Francisco Sánchez Yago, a psychiatrist at the Hospital "Rafael Méndez" Lorca and the Mental Health Clinic "Santa Isabel" of Murcia.
