The Department of Public Safety of the City of Eagle today released the statistics of 2011, as a number of prosecutions undertaken by the local police.
The figures, slightly higher than 2010, show that last year 149 prosecutions were conducted, resulting in a total of 117 detainees.
Of these, 69 are Spanish nationals and 47 foreigners.
The months with the largest number of Court proceedings were August and November, reaching the score in each of them.
However, in July, with 17 detainees, was the month in which is recorded the highest number of people brought to justice.
The Councillor responsible for this area in the Consistory aquiline, Francisco Clemente, stated that "during the past year also recovered 11 stolen vehicles and 68 were instructed crimes against traffic safety, including police actions."
For the year 2011, Clement wanted to highlight the actions that local actors performed on the beach of La Cola, last June, thanks to which they seized several bundles of drugs, with more than 1,000 kilos of hashish, producing several arrests and intervening vehicles and boats.
Francisco Clemente publicly congratulated the body of the local police Eagles and encouraged them to continue to strive daily in their commendable work citizen this year.
