Councillor of Education, Francisco Clemente, has accompanied the students on their journey.
The students of the school program "Coastal Eco-Schools", belonging to the cycle of primary education, from different educational scepters of the municipality, are visiting this week the Castle "San Juan de las Aguilas."
During the tour of the fort, the students were accompanied by the Councillor for Education, Francisco Clemente, and their monitors and the head coach of Club Nautico, Pedro Juan Perez-Castejón.
"Coastal Eco-Schools" aims to foster in students a curiosity about their identity and appreciate the importance of core values ​​that enrich Eagles, its coastline and its diversity, to act with respect by understanding the environment in which we live.
More than 200 schools participating in this program that tries to make students aware of the natural heritage through visits to points of special interest, such as the Castle "San Juan of the Eagles", which houses the interpretive center of the city .
The methodology used in these extracurricular activities allows students to learn while having fun by attending guided tours, workshops and excursions, which are complemented by educational work within the school.
