The presentation will be given by local archaeologist Eagles, Juan de Dios Hernández.
Tomorrow, Thursday, March 15, the castle of "San Juan of the Eagles" will be the protagonist of the series "The Castles of the Region of Murcia" that develops in Jumilla, between 2 February and 28 June, organized by the Department of Culture and Tourism of the City of Jumilla and Cajamurcia Foundation.
The conference, entitled "The Castle of San Juan de las Aguilas. History and value" will take place at 20:00 pm in the Cultural Hall Cajamurcia of Jumilla, and shall be given by archaeologist Municipal Consistory aquiline, Juan de Dios Hernández García.
During the presentation will address the study of Castillo in several different areas, with new contributions: the history prior to its construction and the various fortifications located on the hill, the foundation of the city of Eagle, the rehabilitation of the monument due to its advanced state of musealization or deterioration and enhancement, with the creation of the Center of Interpretation of the History of Eagles.
