The mayor of Consumer Affairs, Ana Maria Miñarro, visited the OMIC, where they have been delivering bags of tomatoes to all users.
The Department of Consumer Affairs of City of Eagle has organized a series of activities to commemorate World Consumer Rights, a date which was instituted in 1983 by the United Nations to remember the rights granted to all people as users and consumers.
Coinciding with the day of the celebration, today Thursday, March 15, the councilor responsible for this area in the Consistory aquiline, Ana Maria Miñarro, visited the Municipal Office of Consumer Information (OMIC), where they have been delivering bags of tomatoes and other gifts to all users who have spent the morning on those premises.
Ana Maria Miñarro has announced that the celebrations will continue until next Wednesday, March 21, when hosting the traditional pie contest, which this year celebrates its fifteenth edition, organized in collaboration with the Association of Housewives Consumers and Users "Our Lady of Sorrows" by Eagles.
The event will take place at 18.00 hours, in the halls of the Casino, also having a talk given by Pio Perez Laserna, counsel for the OMIC, dealing with "the basic rights of consumers in Spain and in the Region of Murcia ".
Miñarro also recalled that the Eagles OMIC offers a wide variety of services: information, advice, implementation of written submissions by fax, email, etc.., Used equally by women and men, being the sector from 30 to 65 years more used to them, followed by those aged 65 years and last block of young people between 18 and 30 years of age.
