The entry has been carried out this morning and attended by the mayor of Health and Human Services, Ana Maria Miñarro.
The mayor of Health and Social Services Consistory aquiline, Ana Maria Miñarro, has attended today the signing of a cooperation agreement between IberCaja Welfare and the Association of Families and Persons with Mental Illness Eagles and Shire (AFEMAC), thanks to which this group may launch a "Project development and improvement of the basic activities of daily living for people with mental illness."
In addition to the council, in the section were present: President of AFEMAC, Dolores Morales, director of area IberCaja, Jesus Maria Gil, and the branch manager of Eagles, Antonio Asensio Martinez.
The main objective of this project is that people with mental illness are able to develop the basic and essential daily tasks, designed to promote physical, mental and social, so they can perform them independently.
The program will consist of several workshops that will help stimulate and motivate the user, in order to get create a habit that no longer make or re-educate those poorly executed.
The workshops, which consist of theory and practice are:
Personal Hygiene: With him will improve aspects related to the daily grooming.
Dress: We tried the right choice of clothes for each season, cleaning and care of it.
Eating habits: It will deal with a balanced diet, based on the types of food and its composition, as well as meal times.
Cleaning and organizing the house: Develop a user's ability in this area: making the bed, clean the house and keep the same organization, use of appliances, home accident prevention and intervention in emergencies.
Social Management: Recognition of coins and bills in progress, ability to manage money properly, anticipated expenses, use of banks, shopping, etc..
