The Eagles Official Chronicler was accompanied by mayor of Culture and Heritage and several councilors of the Municipal Corporation.
The Official Chronicler of Eagles and a member of the Real Academia Alfonso X El Sabio de Murcia, Luis Diaz Martinez, offered last night at the Cultural Hall Cajamurcia a talk on "the Constitution of Cadiz and its influence on the history of Eagles" .
During his presentation, Luis Diaz was accompanied by the Councillor for Culture and Heritage of the Consistory aquiline, Francisco Miguel Martínez, as well as several councilors of the Municipal Corporation and a large audience followed with interest the conference.
In a previous encounter with the media, Diaz explained that "La Pepa" Eagles meant for the creation of the first Constitutional Council in March 1812, when separated from Lorca, although it lasted only 20 months, to be annulled by the King Fernando VII.
Years later, in 1820, with the arrival of "Liberals", the 2,000 inhabitants of Eagles swore to defend the Constitution against the absolutist or realists who rejected it.
