Therefore, the local board of the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) and the Department of Health today Consistory aquiline have installed an information booth in the Plaza of Spain in Aguilas.
The mayor of Health, Ana Maria Miñarro, and the local president of the AECC, Lolita Perez along with several councilors and members of that group, participated in this informative session, which highlighted the importance of raising awareness among citizens over 50 years about the need to perform appropriate medical tests, in order to detect the disease early, since it depends can be overcome without any problems.
Lolita Perez recalled that on Sunday, April 1, the AECC and AFEMAC will conduct a "Joint Solidarity March", which will start at 10:00 hours from the Colonial Promenade (next to the Rock of Roncaor) to Matalentisco beach, being the registration fee of 3 euros, so it has encouraged everyone to work with these local partnerships.
Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the most common malignant tumor in our country.
Forecasts indicate that this year 19,700 new cases are detected in men and 14,000 women, which translates into 33,700 people affected by this disease.
