Election day was held yesterday in climate normally, with the participation of 829 members, of whom 339 gave their support to the candidacy of the current president.
Yesterday Sunday, April 1, took place the elections to the new board of the Municipal Center on Aging, which had submitted a total of four nominations.
As indicated by the mayor of Old Age, Ana Maria Miñarro, present throughout the voting process and subsequent recount, election day was spent in an atmosphere completely normal and a high level of participation.
Once the scrutiny of the 829 votes, the result for the various candidates were as follows:
Juana Sanchez Gonzalez: 339 votes.
Jose Maria Sanchez-Fortun Valdés: 170 votes:
Isabel García Navarro: 162 votes.
Piedad Rodríguez Álvarez: 147 votes.
Null: 6
Blank: 5
