The City of Eagle, through the departments of: Women, Education, Culture and Heritage, has organized a program of activities to mark World Book Day, with the collaboration of different organizations and local writers.
The events, entitled "A sea of ​​letters", will take place next Monday, April 23 at the Auditorium and Congress Centre "Infanta Elena" and their environment, highlighting the following events:
"Images and Words": From 10'00 to 13'00 pm and from 18'00 to 20'00 hours, visits to the Auditorium and Convention Centre Eagles, agreed with schools and open to the general public, where offer a literary journey through the exhibition of Manuel Coronado "70 springs and 50 years of creation."
"Moments with Books": From 10'00 to 13'00 pm in the Plaza of Spain, and from 17'00 to 22'00 pm in the Esplanade Auditorium, Book Fair with the participation of local booksellers .
"From author to author": At 20:00 pm in the Conference Room of the Auditorium and Congress Centre "Infanta Elena" with the presence of local authorities, journalist Isabel hooked Reverte will present "The Life and Work of aquiline authors "with the participation of: Esther Soto, Juan Jose Navarro, Francisco Jose Montalvan, Philip and Bartholomew Lopez Muñoz.
The event will include a posthumous tribute to Antonio Cerdan Married, first Official Chronicler of Eagle, between 1974 and 2002, submitted by the municipal archivist, Josefa Navarro.
Similarly, there will be the award ceremony of the III School Short Story Contest.
