During the ceremony, the village headman, Nicholas Bonaque, presented the "Silver Cross" to the winners, among whom was the mayor, Bartolomé Hernández Giménez.
The Association for the Defence of History and Traditions Calabardina, met last Saturday at more than 200 people in this group annual dinner organized with the intention of raising funds for the celebration of the Fiestas de la Cruz de Mayo, which in this 2012 will be held on 12 and 13 next month, in the hamlet known hawk.
The massive event, for which tickets sold out, was developed in the restaurant "Golden Eagle", with the assistance of many authorities and representatives of various local associations, who would not miss the appointment.
