Has been developed for three months and the end result was the publication of the book "Counting of stories," published by the Department of Women's Consistory aquiline.
The Women's mayor, Maria Patrocinio Martinez, and the head of education, Francisco Clemente, I have closed the Creative Writing Workshop organized by the Department of Women of the City of Eagle.
Over three months, the students were able to delve into different genres, even part of the book "Counting of stories," published by the Consistory aquiline and in which the participants have reported experiences and feelings.
During the closing ceremony, Maria Patrocinio Martinez said that "through writing, we can share with others how we feel, what our desires, thoughts and needs, it enriches those who put it but also to anyone who reads" .
Martinez was keen to stress that through its council "is possible meeting places for women, evaluating the need to make themselves known, to become visible to society, to be recognized for what they are, people who can contribute ideas, values, feelings, views, decisions, work, and a host of initiatives that can secure a better world in which we live and move forward to achieve real equality of opportunity between men and women, because we are convinced that this is the way forward ".
Finally, the host of the workshop, Isabel Reverte, pointed out that among its objectives were: to promote self-esteem and social integration of women, highlighting the ability of each participant to tell stories or create or increase awareness of the different genres and reading interests.
