The mayors of both municipalities presided over the last weekend of commemorative events held in the Catalan city.
The towns of Eagle and Montcada i Reixac (Barcelona) held last weekend the first acts of the tenth anniversary of the twinning between the two sites, organized by the Centre in the Catalan town aquiline.
Moncada moved to a delegation of Eagles, led by its mayor, Bartolome Hernandez Gimenez, along with councilors and Agriculture Celebration, Clara Valverde and Francisco Navarro, respectively, and different aquiline who would not miss the opportunity to visit relatives and the components of the crew of the "Marina de Cope", who acted with the group montcadense "Sursum" during the course of an emotional event.
The celebrations began in the Municipality of Moncada, an official reception with the mayor, Maria Elena Perez, and other councilors of Municipal Corporation offered the delegation aquiline, where Bartolome Hernandez signed the book of honor.
The program of activities continued with the visit of officials from both cities to the Eagles Square and aquiline Moncada Center, where they moved the venue in the city held an official ceremony, during which the two mayors and President of that Center, José María Hernández, and various performances and a multitudirario lunch attended by about 300 people.
After the event, the political representatives expressed satisfaction with the smooth development of this conference the tenth anniversary of the twinning, which will end next August in Aguilas, when an expedition montcadense visit our town.
