Eagles pays tribute to one of his illustrious countrymen with a bust of the renowned sculptor Santiago de Santiago.
Accomplishing the plenary agreement reached on 26 January, the Township Eagles today paid a deserved tribute to the late Son of the City, Gold Medal of the Village and Marquis de Aguilas, Alfonso Lopez Escámez, died 16 May 2010, at 94 years of age.
At the request of the family Escámez, Plaza of Spain in the town today has a bust to the eternal memory of the famous aquiline by the renowned sculptor Santiago de Santiago, the cost has supported the family.
