Representatives from eight municipalities of the Autonomous Community of Murcia gathered this weekend at the Auditorium and Congress Centre "Infanta Elena".
The Auditorium and Convention Center "Infanta Elena" Eagles received last Saturday XIV Choral Competition in the Region of Murcia, with the participation of groups: "Harmony" Cartagena, "Stella Maris Björk" St. Javier, "Nuestra Señora de la Antigua" Monteagudo, "Virgen del Rosario" Reyllo Caves, "Santiago Apostol" of Santiago de la Rivera, "Virgen de la Salud" Sewer, "Santa Cecilia" of Lorca and "Virgin of Sorrows "by Eagles.
The opening ceremony was conducted by: the mayor of Eagle, Bartolome Hernandez, the director general of Social Affairs and Immigration Equality, Leopoldo Navarro, president of the Murcia Federation of Associations of Housewives, Consumers and Users "Thader Consumption" , Jane Doe, and the president of the Eagles Housewives, Maruja Jerez, which were accompanied by different municipal authorities.
From early morning until noon, the eight participating choirs took to the stage of the Auditorium, where they performed five subjects per group.
The musical styles were very different from boleros and pasodobles to rancheras or Havana, all of them applauded by the large audience attending the event.
