The inaugural ceremony took place this morning and has had: the mayor of Eagle, Vice President of the Autonomous Community of Murcia, the Director General of Industry and Agri-Food and Agricultural Training Urcisol president, among other officials and guests.

This morning took place the inauguration of a new rooftop PV systems in the company hooked "Urcisol", a firm dedicated to horticulture since 1972.

This infrastructure of solar panels, covering an area of ​​12,000 m2, is one of the most important of the Murcia region and provide an output of 650 kW / hour, helping to reduce CO2 emissions to the atmosphere and meeting the national guidelines relating to environmental measures.

The opening ceremony has been attended to: the mayor of Eagle, Bartolome Hernandez, Vice President of the Autonomous Community of Murcia, Juan Bernal, the director general of Food Industry and Agricultural Training, Angel Garcia, and the president of "Urcisol" Alfonso Garcia, among other officials and guests.

All present concurred on the excellent business trajectory "Urcisol" and especially its founder, Alfonso Garcia Zapata, now that the 40th anniversary of its establishment in Aguilas.

A date which celebrates the horticultural firm opening this photovoltaic system, which cost around 2 million euros and are in addition to the 120 invested over his career, 100 of whom have been with equity and the remaining 20 by European Funds.

Mayor Eagles wanted to emphasize that "this group is a reference in the agricultural sector in Spain, also providing an annual average of almost 2,000 jobs, divided into over 3,000 hectares in production on their farms and factories of Murcia and Andalucía" .

Bartolome Hernandez also referred to the priority that the business group has, in recent years, the introduction of new technologies, promoting savings in water consumption and improving the quality of its products, allowing them to gain important certifications quality to the market that have opened in the European hypermarket.

Meanwhile, from the direction of the company have indicated that the quality of its products and the trust generated over the years, is the main weapon that can fight against unfair competition from countries outside the European Economic Community while have encouraged the Regional and Municipal Government to continue working in the defense sector, within and beyond our borders.

Finally, from "Urcisol" have stressed that "this company will continue its efforts to bring wealth and employment for Eagles and around, keeping one step ahead of horticulture in our country."
