Today marks exactly one year since the new government team People's Party is put in front of the City of Eagle.
For this reason, the local chief executive, Bartolome Hernandez, accompanied by the other councilors of the Municipal Government, held a meeting with the media which has made an assessment of this first stage of the legislature.
Eagles Mayor began his speech by stating that the current economic situation is not the most propitious for the government to develop major projects, but that's a fact that I knew when he ran for municipal elections, wanted to refine Hernandez.
Hence, their main priorities are to improve quality of life of citizens, through a multitude of actions that the mayor has outlined during the press conference, where it has become clear that, for lack of money, imagination, perseverance in work and savings management and control of public spending are key to develop projects, while lowering the level of indebtedness of the City, is paid to suppliers and amortized loans.
During the press conference, Bartolome Hernandez stressed several actions of the Government Team.
Since the decline of councilors released, which rose from 9 to start the last term to 6 in the present, including the mayor that he got the salary after taking possession, with consequent savings to the municipal coffers, to the many actions to lay the foundation to help generate new jobs.
In this sense, the mayor of Eagles noted that although the municipal powers in this area are limited, all governments should undertake initiatives that benefit the unemployed and help strengthen employment, referring specifically to certain actions initiated by the Municipal Government Team, as is the case: 50% tax credits in the planning permission for works to young entrepreneurs and to 95% in favor of buildings that are declared special
interest and the imminent launch of the Business Incubator with bonuses of 100% in rental costs, conducting several training courses for unemployed persons with the intention of facilitating their entry into the labor market agreements with the SEF, auction new plots in the Industrial or series of meetings with local social actors (employers, unions, representatives of agricultural associations and service sector), in order to join forces and work together in strengthening the main productive sectors of the locality and generate new jobs in Aguilas.
During his appearance, the local chief executive has sought to influence other aspects such as tourism and positively evaluate the fact of increased hotel occupancy by 20% during the past summer season, while stressed the importance of work together with the business community in promoting Eagles, with direct actions such as those carried out in: Granada, Albacete, Jaén and Madrid, where working groups were established with travel agents to offer the local tourism, just as has led to the disclosure of the tourism product of Eagles in the regional press, national and international (newspapers, magazines, radio and television) that have echoed the many attractions of the city.
Before closing this chapter, Bartolome Hernandez also recalled the appearance of two coupons Eagles ONCE, interviews with the directors of several hotel chains expanding in FITUR, some of whom have visited the city, creating new tourist routes such as railroad or collaboration of the Consistory in several familiarization trips being made in Eagles with leading tour operators.

Championships of Spain: releases, duathlon and sailing, sports like football between national teams of Spain and Latvia or Campus Basketball Amaya Valdemoro, have citizens enjoy, while the city appeared in the media national communication.
The wide and varied cultural program that has collected the Auditorium and Congress Centre "Infanta Elena" with more than 30,000 visitors since its opening, has substantially extended its range of leisure and entertainment of the city and the building has been used by international brands for their new catalogs.
Following the cultural section, the Archaeological Museum has boosted its exhibition area with a monetary and an area dedicated to hemp, which is the germ of a future museum project theme, and has completed the declaration Fraile Island as a site of Cultural Interest (BIC), and collaborates on many projects with different cultural groups and local artists.
The mayor has moved to the media the difficulty of trying to summarize in a short space, a year of activity in the locality.

In this regard, Hernandez recalled from the creation of new Citizen Services to the organization of many activities aimed at different groups in our community (women, youth, seniors), with a focus on service delivery the most disadvantaged and at risk of social exclusion, as well as to children and health-related associations for which has enabled a local residence in San Francisco.
