Participants received their diplomas today in a ceremony presided by the mayor and aldermen Eagles of Social Services and Education.
Occupational Center students "Urci" have gathered today diplomas attesting to their participation in the XII Conference on Road Safety Education, which since last Monday have been carried out in Eagles in order to develop in them habits that will benefit them in their displacement as pedestrians in the city.
Learning based on values: respect, responsibility and prudence, which favor the autonomy of these people with different disabilities.
During the formative period, given by the Office of Road Safety Education Local Police, students also have worked the appropriate use of transport, both collective and individual, getting used independently and safe city buses.
The closing ceremony held in the auditorium of the headquarters of the local police, has attended various local authorities, among which were: the mayor of Eagle, Bartolome Hernandez Gimenez, Councillor for Education, Public Safety and Mobility, Francisco Clemente, the mayor of Social Services, Ana Maria Miñarro and the local police sergeant, Andrew Lledó, and the president of the Occupational Center "Urci" Josefa Lopez, the agent instructor, Rafael Ortiz, and students participants.
After the presentation of diplomas, local authorities have highlighted the importance of carrying out this type of educational activities in the whole school community, but especially for those students whose personal autonomy often depends on learning a few basic guidelines for move around the city.
