This morning was held in the City of Eagle presentation Lecture XVII "Looking to the Sea", which will take place from 2 to 16 August, the Auditorium and Congress Centre "Infanta Elena", bringing together a total of four lectures.
The event was run at Thistle Councillor for Culture and Heritage, Francisco Miguel Martinez, the coordinator of the cycle, José Asensio, who have reported that the conference will begin at 20:00 pm with the following program:
Thursday 2 August: "The trip to the moon to the ocean floor: Magic and fantasy films of Georges Melies," by Thomas Joaquin Belchí Canovas, Professor of Art History at the University of Murcia.
Tuesday, August 7: "Why our earth trembles? Tectonic context Guadalentín Valley, Sierra de Almenara and Aguilas Basin," with Juan Antonio Lopez Martin, Professor of Secondary Education specializing in Biology and Geology, in the IES Ramón Arcas Mecca of Lorca, and member of the Spanish Association for the Teaching of Earth Sciences.
Thursday August 9, "From the Atacama Desert Eagles: The conservation of the flora of arid areas", by Juan Francisco Mota Poveda, Professor of Botany at the University of Almería and member of the Spanish Society for Conservation Biology Plant.
Thursday, August 16: "The undersea continental margin aquiline" with John Acosta Yepes, researcher at the Spanish Institute of Oceanography.
