Despite the difficult economic situation, the session aquiline has maintained the same budget as last year for the Carnival Show.

The City of Eagle deeply regrets that the Federation of Peñas Carnival has unilaterally decided not to move the summer street parade, an event which this year celebrates its fourth edition and is an important showcase for promoting our big party between the many visitors these days are enjoying their holiday in the municipality.

Despite the difficult economic situation, the session aquiline has maintained the same budget as last year for the Carnival Show, a figure that exceeds 30,000 euros.

This amount is in addition to the approximately 400,000 euros that the City of Eagle spends every February to celebrate the great feast of the municipality, of which 235,000 euros are direct grant to the Federation of Peñas del Carnaval.

From the start, the Eagles Municipal Government has shown its total readiness to make the Carnival Show, originally scheduled for August 11, except that, once analyzed by the Safety Board the proposed new route the Federation of Clubs, consisting of a parade that depart from the port to reach the Auditorium, the Safety Board said the new route not recommended, as it would leave several escape routes closed and all traffic collapse in the rest, with the danger that would lead to any emergency that may arise at a time when thousands of people are concentrated in the town.

Following these reports, the City of Eagle intends to simply maintain the same route in recent years, providing an excellent sample of Carnival to promote this important celebration and enjoyment of aquiline and visitors, something that has refused exhaustively Federation of Peñas.

All this is added the requirement that the City of Eagle authorize a full week of celebration, with mounting bars on the beach "Las Delicias", compared to the Auditorium, with a long opening hours.

Although at first this activity was so favorable, after consideration and assessment, the Safety Board could not be argued that ensuring the safety of persons and things, because at this time the city does not have all extraordinary emergency devices with which it has in February, as are the special forces of the Civil Guard and other security forces, as we are in August and we must continue to provide service to the rest of the population, which in summer is multiplied by three and scattered in different places, not as in Carnival where the party is concentrated in one point.

We think that the decision of the Federation, not only harms the image of our party, but it deprives citizens, and especially the carnival, an event in the deposited all their hope every summer, so we call Federation of Peñas to reflect and take to the streets the splendor and beauty of our Carnival, for what will be the full support of City of Eagles.
