These temperatures may increase to 40 ° C, with a probability of between 40 and 70%, from 12'00 to 20'00 pm tomorrow Friday, August 10, in the Altiplano, Valle del Guadalentín Lorca, Aguilas, Northwest and Vega del Segura, so it will activate the "Orange Alert" in anticipation of a heat wave.
According to the Meteorological Agency (AEMET), it is likely that this adverse event continue until next Sunday, August 12, in most of the country.
As of Saturday, August 11, is expected to begin declining temperatures in the northwest peninsula, but still to this day the maximum will remain very high in much of south and east of the peninsula.
On Sunday 12 the decline was generalized to all areas, thus ending the episode.
The UV index (UVI) reach values ​​of 9 to 10 in the Peninsula and Balearic Islands, and this heat wave will involve a high risk of fires in the country.
