The objectives of these grants are to increase competitiveness, create jobs, generate wealth, improve product quality and increase exports, highlighting the commitment of the Regional Government for such an important sector for the economy and the whole Eagles the Autonomous Community of Murcia.
The total value of the aid amounts to 35,405,000 euros, 75% financed by the European Union, through the EAFRD, and the remaining 25% for the modernization of farms, will be borne by the Ministry of Agriculture.
In the case of aid to the incorporation of younger people in, they will have a 15% contribution from the Central Government and 10% of the Ministry of Agriculture.
Councilman Eagles Agriculture, Francisco Navarro, wanted to "encourage young people interested in joining this sector, aged between 18 and 40, to apply for aid, since the amount thereof may to 35,000 euros per new facility. "
Navarro has also indicated that, in the case of the modernization of farms, the value of aid can amount to up to 40% of the investment to be made, increasing by 10% if the applicant is a young farmer.
