The mayors of both municipalities presided last weekend events commemorating the past.
The towns of Aguilas and Montcada i Reixac held last weekend events commemorating the recent tenth anniversary of the twinning between the two towns.
The first event related to this anniversary took place last May, when a delegation of Eagles, led by its mayor, Bartolomé Hernández Giménez, with councilors and Agriculture Celebrations and various aquiline, among whom were components Gang "Marina de Cope", moved to Montcada i Reixac to participate in a full program of activities.
That visit was returned this weekend by Montcada.
Thus, the celebrations began last Saturday in the City of Eagles, an official reception with the local chief executive, Bartolomé Hernández Giménez, and other councilors of the Municipal Corporation of Eagles offered Entourage Montcada.
During the reception said, the mayor of Montcada i Reixac, Maria Elena Perez, accompanied by her Councillor for Citizen Participation, Jonathan Martin, signed the book of honor of the consistory aquiline.
Later, the two leaders attended the awards ceremony of the International Noctura Race XXX "Mayor of Eagles", from where they moved the venue to attend the holiday concert by the famous singer "David Bustamante".
The program of activities continued on Sunday morning with a visit by boat along the coast of Eagles, finishing in last night with the conclusion of an official ceremony during which the two mayors and the president of the Center aquiline in Montcada, José María Hernández, who was acting as a capella coda formation Catalan "Ocumé", a group of six voices build rhythms and harmonies creating a show full of music and drops of humor, without using musical instruments, only sounds produced by their own voices.
