On Thursday, the athlete winning a gold medal at the Paralympic Games in London will be received at the Plaza of Spain by the mayor of Eagles, where you move to the balcony of the Town Hall for a word to his countrymen.
The City of Eagle has appealed to the citizens of the municipality for the next Thursday, September 13, tucked in the athlete aquiline José Antonio Exposito on his arrival in the town, after winning the gold medal in the long jump at the Olympics London 2012 Paralympics.
Exposito will be received at 19.00 pm in the Plaza of Spain, by the mayor of Eagles, Bartolome Hernandez, from where it will go to the town hall where you wait for the rest of the Municipal Corporation.
The athlete, who also was chosen as Spanish champion of the closing ceremony of the Paralympic Games, will head a few minutes later his countrymen from the balcony of the Town Hall.
The mayor of Eagles, which telephonically congratulated Jose Antonio Exposito, on behalf of all the aquiline, the same day of his victory, has personally asked citizens to join this well-deserved welcome ceremony at one of the most great athletes that have given the municipality.
Remember that Exposito, already in Sydney 2000 Paralympic champion, not only in London has won the gold medal in the long jump (F20), with a jump of 7.25 meters, but has also been Paralympic record in this Discipline.
