The Department of Women's City of Eagles has organized an interesting exhibition, entitled "Women in the railway: clothing and other objects", which will open next Monday, October 1st, at 19.30 am in the Cajamurcia Cultural Hall.
The sample material on loan from Juan Jerez Zurano aquiline, retired former head rail and supply of materials in RENFE, collects an attractive and unpublished section called "cap and uniform in the railway signal Identity", where collected dozens of hats used between 1941 and 1990 by the employees of the sector, of which only two are currently in effect.
According Jerez, these uniforms and caps were used to rank the various categories of works done by railway staff and have been a very important part in the strategy of the company image in society.
Meanwhile, the mayor of Woman, Mary Sponsorship Martinez, stated that "this exhibition is also about bringing women into the labor market prospects of the railway world, while creating a space of interest to many train lovers Eagles ".
The exhibition will be open until Saturday, October 6, at 11.30 hours to 13.00 hours and from 18'00 to 19.30 pm in the Cultural Hall Cajamurcia place next Thursday, the day 4, also held a talk on heritage railways in Aguilas.
