The Department of Culture and Heritage of the City of Eagle continues this weekend with the IX National Amateur Theatre Contest "Paco Rabal," which on Saturday raised the curtain with the first of four films for competition "We must undo the house "Sebastian Junyent, by the theater group" Association of Performing Arts and Music "of Almansa (Albacete).
The Auditorium and Congress Palace "Princess Elena" host on this occasion the book "Do not scream, Lucia" with direction and dramaturgy of Mariana Gonzalez Roberts, in charge of the company "Closed for construction" Mairena del Alcor (Sevilla) , which will be on stage at 20:00 hours.
According to the company, "Do not scream, Lucia" is a personal investigation about a social problem such as violence against women.
Understanding this show as a living process of collective creation, and not a conventional theatrical product.
Tickets are cost 5 euros and can be purchased in advance at Almeida Travel and Lo Nuestro Eagles, or the day of roles, from two hours before the box office in the Auditorium and Congress Palace "Princess Elena".
The next dates for the rest of the companies participating in the IX National Amateur Theatre Contest "Paco Rabal" shall be:
November 10: "Assault of bed" by Juan Luis Mira, in charge of the company "Teatro Corocotta" Reinosa (Cantabria).
November 17: "I get off at the next do you?" By Adolfo Marsillach, the company responsible for "The theater moreover" of Fuenlabrada (Madrid).
Finally, remember that this contest will end on Saturday, December 1, with the performance of the play "La Celestina" by Fernando de Rojas, in charge of the company "Watchtower", National Theatre Award 2008 under the version and adaptation Ricardo Iniesta, acting out of competition at the closing ceremony, with a single price of 12 euros entries.
