The Department of Culture and Heritage of the City of Eagle reports that as can be seen in the Archaeological Museum of the city a new collection of pieces that have been donated by Eduardo Fernández-Luna Jiménez.
As indicated by the museum director, Juan de Dios Hernández, utensils will be exhibited together temporarily, later, and since they belong to different cultures, placing them permanently in their respective sections.
The collection consists of a glass argárica (form 7 Siret), which has been restored in the workshop of the museum itself, the Bronze Argárico (II millennium BC), a bronze coin, namely a Tiberius semis of the mint hispanorronana of Ercávica, a pitcher of late Roman and medieval glazed lantern runner-Islamic (tenth century).
Along with these pieces, also donated paleontological material and a set of coins modern-contemporary era, which will enrich the Money section of the Museum.
The mayor of Culture and Heritage, Francisco Miguel Martinez, wanted to publicly thank Eduardo Fernández-Luna this donation, while made an appeal to the citizens to follow the footsteps of these people who, on a voluntary basis, these assets deposited said Museum, which is the institution that is responsible for the custody, exhibition, research and dissemination of archaeological heritage.
