The Councillor for Education, Francisco Clemente, attended this afternoon the first of these meetings, which took place in the Garden Don Jorge under "Links affective".
This afternoon was started in the Garden Don Jorge course "Education in Family", set in the Parent School building on the school AMPA "Joaquin Shopkeeper", chaired by Nicholas Piñero, in collaboration with the Department of Education of the City Eagles.
Himself mayor of Education, Francisco Clemente, attended the opening of the course, which will run until December 14, where he valued very positively the ongoing work of the Parent School, since, according to Clement, the unit family has much to contribute to the education of children.
These sessions are led by Miguel Alburquerque Cuartero, systemic family therapist and counselor, and develop including videos collected everyday situations under the following content:
November 9: "Strengthen Emotional", about the importance of affection and ties within the family, providing ways for parents to improve their ability to listen and understand the feelings and problems of their children, as well as knowing how to express theirs .
November 16: "Autonomy", discloses techniques to promote the autonomy of the children, teaching them to make decisions, to fend for themselves and face a higher probability of success, risks and dangers.
November 23: "Limits and standards" shows, in a practical and didactic, that the development of children requires setting limits and standards, teaching how.
November 30: "Praise and support," says the importance of knowing how to praise and recognize that children develop self-esteem and provides tips to get it.
December 14: "Problem solving and conflict", presents concrete examples that guide the way to solve some of the everyday family difficulties.
