On the occasion of the commemoration of World Diabetes Day, celebrated internationally on 14 November, the Eagles Diabetics Association (ADIA), in collaboration with the Department of Health of the City of Eagle, was installed Thursday in the Plaza of Spain a stand which is providing information about the disease and glucose tests are done and making tension between all road users.
Under the slogan "Diabetes: protect our future," the president of ADIA, Juan Carlos Prison, along with other members of this group, are responsible for testing the citizens of Eagle, including this morning was Councilman Youth and New Technologies, Juan José Asensio.
The day will continue throughout the afternoon, trying to raise awareness on the measures to be carried out to prevent, delay or treat serious complications caused by this disease.
