The mayor of the City of Eagle Woman, Mary Sponsorship Martinez, accompanied by various authorities and municipal, opened last night at the Cultural Hall Cajamurcia the exhibition "In Search of Good Love: avoiding loves that kill", organized by the session aguileño within the program of events commemorating the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
The show, which will be open until Saturday at 11.00 hours to 13.30 hours and from 17.30 to 19.30 hours, is published by the Government of the Canary Islands and consists of 14 panels that include text, photographs and drawings, which are intended to raise awareness among teens about the consequences of gender stereotypes and the prevention of gender violence.
In fact, the exhibition is scheduled to be moved later, on the move, by the various schools in the city.
During the opening ceremony, Martinez invited citizens to attend next Thursday, at 19.30 hours, Cajamurcia Cultural Hall, where the former prosecutor Dean of the Office of Lorca, José Martínez Blanco, will give a talk- symposium titled "Gender Violence. Crimes: problems raised by their application. Rights of Women."
The activities of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women continue through December 2, under the slogan "Same movie, different players", including: theater, new exhibits, short films contest or reading a manifesto institutional and developing a "human network" against gender violence, which is open to all citizens who so desire, to be held next Sunday at 11'45 pm in Esplanade Auditorium and Convention Congresses "Princess Elena".
