The Councillor for Tourism and Celebrations, Clara Valverde, presented today at a press conference the program of events of "Christmas and Epiphany", which starts on December 14 and runs through Jan. 6.
As reported by Clara Valverde "the City of Eagles has scheduled events for almost all of Christmas Day, develop free in the streets and squares of the city, in order to encourage people to leave their homes and enjoy the atmosphere that surrounds the town these days. "
The traditional Christmas scene, which every year is installed in the Plaza of Spain, will host performances of the school theater workshop, with the participation of the vast majority of schools Eagles (14, 15, 16, 17 and 20 December), the XV Festival of Carols School (December 19) and Christmas, by New dance schools Rhythm and Zambra (December 27).
As usual, Celebration activities will also lead to different districts of the city, highlighting children's parties with entertainment area and craft workshops, to be held from 12'00 to 14'00 pm in the squares: Montcada i Reixac (Dec. 16), Gutierrez Mellado (December 23), White Park (December 30) and Robles Vives (January 6).
Among the quotes featured at Valverde worth noting: Hosting a Papa Noel (December 22, at 19.00 hours), the Christmas market (21 to 23 December, between Plaza Alfonso Robles Vives and Escámez) recovery Debutant's Eve at the Plaza of Spain, by the group Nagha (December 31, after the chimes of New Year), the parade and the festival of Monster High (3 January at 19.00 hours), and the Three Kings (January 5, starting at 19.00 hours).
