The Consumer mayor, Ana Maria Miñarro, announced today that the City of Eagles begin an information campaign next week, offering some advice to citizens ahead of the Christmas shopping and Reyes.
Miñarro stated that "through different posts, will seek to educate consumers on various aspects to consider when making the traditional Christmas shopping."
Some of the recommendations include the campaign and have been highlighted by the council are:
Buy on sites that offer security.
Set a budget according to our abilities and make a shopping list before going to the establishments.
Compare prices and ignore what is not needed.
Always keep the tickets or invoices.
Choosing the right toys, taking into account age who are targeted.
In telephony or Internet services, compare prices and save a copy of the contract.
Finally, the Consumer holder wanted to remind citizens that have a Municipal Office of Consumer Information (OMIC), located on the ground floor of "The Placetón" as well as a phone number 968 413 661, which deal with any query.
