The rooms of the Hotel Puerto Juan Montiel have welcomed this afternoon over one hundred and fifty women who have registered to participate in the traditional cooking course every year organized by the Department of Consumer Affairs of the City of Eagles and the Association of Amas House.
The succulent gastronomic day was chaired by the mayor of consumption, Ana Maria Miñarro, who reported that "this is an intensive course which are made four dishes and two desserts, which will surely be used by housewives in the upcoming Christmas holidays. "
During the presentation, Miñarro reported that "this year will go to Social Services half the amount allocated for the completion of the course, as agreed with the new board of the Association of Housewives."
For his part, the president of that group, Catalina Garcia, stressed that "this is the seventeenth edition of a culinary encounter which has wide acceptance among the partners, as evidenced by the fact of having a massive turnout of women in each one of these appointments. "
The menu prepared and then tasted by the participants themselves, was composed of: tom tricolor with goat cheese and walnuts, mushrooms and leeks spongy in seafood sauce, turkey tostón tangerine sauce and soy, pangasius roll filled seafood flavored with lemon, walnuts and dates cookies with hot chocolate.
The evening concluded with a raffle of gifts from all different "cooks", which include several treatments Spa donated by the host institution, and other details prepared by the Department of Consumer Affairs.
