Opened last night at the Cultural Hall Cajamurcia the last exhibition of the year, a fine collection of paintings by Danish painter Allan Madsen, which will be open until 6 January, in time of 18'00 to 21'00 pm except 24 and 25 December.
The mayor of Tourism, Clara Valverde, along with other local authorities and guests, as the justice of the peace, Domingo Lopez, the artist wanted to tuck in presenting this retrospective that includes nine of the best works of the painter, along with 15 other boxes made especially for the occasion.
Allan Madsen has always demonstrated a knack for drawing, and a special skill to highlight the beauty of classical paintings, even to combine with figurative painting still lifes.
Currently, the artist has developed a very personal style, with large bare, simple and anatomical drawings.
Although his work has evolved over time, the Danish retains its fascination for the mere fact of paint, for the detail he gives to these large funds that have led to a very intimate nude style, both in oil and in watercolor .
Allan Madsen was born in 1952 in Randers (Denmark).
At the age of 5 years moved to Canada with his family.
Between 1971 and 1981 he studied and taught music in London, specializing in Renaissance music for lute.
At this time (1981) began studying Fine Arts in Paris.
For the next seven years, despite living in Paris, he developed a constant activity in Italy and Spain where he met his wife to be, with which in 1988 he moved to Sweden.
Three children were born there, happened while the exhibitions of his works.
After a period of time, in 1996, Allan and his family were permanently based at Eagles, where he currently develops his work is internationally known after several exhibitions in Europe and North America.
