The Literary Contest Eagles Carnival fulfilled its twentieth anniversary last night with a ceremony which honored actor Paco Rabal aquiline and which was chaired by the mayor, Bartolome Hernandez, the mayor of Celebration, Clara Valverde, and President of the Federation of Peñas, Jose Alonso, accompanied by several councilors of the Municipal Corporation.
Attendees were also adult and child characters Carnival 2013 and workshop components paper costumes, who received a certificate of recognition for the important work they perform every year at this party.
The event began with a video projection on the life and work of Rabal, featured performances of Carnival and Official Ballet Gang Cuesta de Gos, along with a masterful interpretation of actor Antonio de Béjar Murcia, in the that recalled a series of anecdotes and experiences about their namesake aquiline.
The winners in this year Literary Competition were:
Tenth Award: Julia Robles with "Drink of the Gods".
Prose Award: Elizabeth Jimenez with "Stitches color, sequins and shells".
Poetry Prize: Antonio Muela "Eagles".
The evening ended with the presentation of the Official Book Carnival, a publication of 84 pages, full color, with text and photographs which collects the highlights of the festival.
The author of the poster, Aguiló Christopher Dominguez, also signed copies of his work between all present.
