The mayor of the City of Eagle Woman, Maria Martinez Sponsorship, today opened the new Archaeology Workshops that will run until next June.
More than twenty women will participate in this activity that has been separated into two groups, one for beginners and one advanced, the latter with the students that last year were part of the first workshop of ancient ceramic restoration.
Classes for which is still open enrollment period, will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, at 11.00 hours to 13.00 hours, aiming at recovering antiques, mainly from Roman times.
As reported by local archaeologist, Juan de Dios Hernández, one of the novelties of this year is the introduction of metal treatment and restoration of large parts, such as amphorae.
