This past weekend saw the awards of the traditional Costume Contest organized each year by the Municipal Center on Aging "Antonio Segura Sicily" Eagles.

The event was attended by councilors: Third Age, Ana Maria Miñarro, Celebration, Clara Valverde and Youth, Juan José Asensio, accompanied by the president of the Center, Juana Gonzalez and adult and child characters Carnival 2013.

The winners of the various forms of the costume contest were:

Award for the Best Carnival: Francisca Montalbán "Caribbean".

Prize for Elegance: Encarna Ruiz "musketeer".

Fantasy Award: Manuel Garcia "Strawberry Shortcake".

Congeniality Award: Jose Campos "sweeper".

Best Couple Award: Pedro Morata, Juana Robles, Julia Ramirez and Felipe Morata "Cats".

Originality Award: Antonia Romera "Shrug".

Colorful Award: Leonor Lorente "Mora.
