The Community was presented this week to the City of Eagles of the refurbishment of the promenade of the Levante beach and the Delights of the same town, run by the Ministry of Public Works and Planning.
The Minister, Antonio Sevilla, signed the act by which the City of Eagle is, currently responsible for the operation and maintenance of these facilities.
Antonio Sevilla said that the refurbishment of the promenade made by his department "have addressed the concerns of urban connection with the coast, making it a very accessible to citizens hooked to shore."
The work, which had a regional investment of 2.2 million euros, was performed on the entire length of the promenade which has a length of 1,600 meters, with a paved surface of 12,300 square meters.
The refurbishment carried out by the Ministry included the remodeling of linear sections of both beaches seafront, rearranging the garden areas of 3,000 square meters, and reclamation of existing speed bump at the mouth of the Rambla de Las Culebras .
Furthermore, in the vicinity of the new municipal auditorium was continued until a pedestrian plaza and walk the old pavement was replaced by one of cobblestone.
