The mayor and the Elderly Consumer, Ana Maria Miñarro, visited the Municipal Office of Consumer Information, accompanied by the president and several members of the Senior Center.
Today marks the World Day of Consumer Rights, a date which the City of Eagle is celebrating all week, with a program of events organized by the Department of Consumer Affairs.
These activities have been closed this morning, with an open day at the Municipal Office of Consumer Information (OMIC), to which the mayor has gone holder of this area in the consistory aquiline, Ana Maria Miñarro, accompanied by President and several members of the Senior Center, who have been personally acquainted with the operation and services provided by this department.
During the ceremony, Miñarro said that "the OMIC is an organizational structure of local government, serving the public of information, counseling and legal advice to consumers, causing them to have an affordable and fast mechanism to exercise their rights" .
The profile of the user, the services are used interchangeably by women and men, being the area of ​​30 to 65 years the most resorted to, followed by those aged 65 years and last block of 18- and 30 years of age.
Finally, the council wanted to remind citizens that the Consumer Information Office is located in the Municipal Building "The Placetón" and is served by two reporters and a legal adviser, with a public opening hours from 9:00 to 13.00 hours, Monday through Friday.
