More than twenty women are participating in an archeology workshop, organized by the City of Eagle, which began in February and will run until June.
The classes are separated into two groups, one for beginners and one advanced, the latter with the students that last year were part of the first course of restoration of ancient pottery.
Woman Councilwoman Mary Sponsorship Martinez and local archaeologist, Juan de Dios Hernández, this morning visited the facilities where participants learn to restore old pieces, mainly from Roman times, many of which will later be displayed in the archaeological museum.
A new feature of this release is the introduction of metal treatment and restoration of large parts, such as amphorae.
In addition, other aspects are treated as washing and cleaning of the fragments, salting and drying, gluing and assembly, applying wax molds, plaster reintegration volume, color application and implementation of the SPC for monitoring the process.
