About 25 volunteers from different departments of the Local Assembly of the Spanish Red Cross Eagles have participated this weekend in the activity pursued in parallel, transmit and raise public awareness campaign targets the Spanish Red Cross "Much Love yourself" in the care of the environment, such as preventing the degradation of the environment and reduce risks to human health caused by water pollution, loss of biodiversity or reducing the level of oxygen in the water, between others.
To do this, from 9 am until noon, the beaches of the Source, Torre de Cope, Hole, the Rafal and Sombrerico, all located east of Cope Cabezo were combed and organic debris removed, trash and abandoned material.
An Environmental Cleanup Day has enjoyed the cooperation of the Department of Environment, Parks and Gardens of the City of Eagle and do not rule be repeated in different coastal areas of the municipality before the start of the summer season.
