Ana Maria Miñarro has reported that the deadline for submission of papers is open until June 6, in the categories of poetry and prose.
The mayor of Third Age of the City of Eagle, Ana Maria Miñarro, has reported the launch of a literary contest, free subject, in the categories of poetry and prose, aimed at enhancing the cultural activity in the group of elderly the municipality.
The competition entitled "Writers in the Golden Age" and is open to all members of the Municipal Center on Aging "Antonio Sicily Safe" and the residences "San Francisco" and "San Miguel" and can deliver form a single work.
The poems must have a minimum of 10 lines and a maximum of 20 and prose not exceed two pages.
As indicated by Ana Maria Miñarro, the deadline for submission of the work will be open from today until 12'00 hours on June 6 and will be delivered to the Department of Aging Eagles Hall, as well as the residences above above.
Finally, the council has reported that the jury's decision will be announced during the course of the traditional Gala "Golden Age", which will take place next summer, in the Plaza de Antonio Cortijo.
